    Architects or draftspersons can work better if there is an accurate land survey. If the project is about renovation or extension then the building survey helps too.

    Usually, your architect or draftsperson should provide the site plan, cut and fill plan, Floor plans, elevations, sections, finishing material details, shadow diagrams and few more documents.

    The Building Sustainability Index is a NSW Government planning requirement that affects anyone submitting a Building Application in NSW for a new house, alteration

  4. Storm-water Plan
    Your engineer might be able to prepare this plan for you.

  5. Structure plans and certificates
    Your registered structure engineer might be able to provide these plans and certificate for your submission. If that is a renovation or extension case, some additional certificates might be required from the engineer.

  6. Other Documents
    Including but not limited to bushfire assessment (if relevant) demolition plan, Sydney water approval and etc. Ask your architect to connect you to the related specialist.
